hi all,,, been awhile I been on,,,but found a 2008d Lincoln, that has somthin up with the 8,, hopin all yu experts out there let me know wat yall think,, mny thx

Oh the glare!  It took a minute, but I see that the top of the 8 is misshaped. My best guess is that it took one well-placed hit to get that way. I can't think of how that could have happened during production.

Quote: sorry bout the pics They were fine -- just shiny. I struggle like crazy trying to get decent photos. I use a USB Microscope with built in lights and they make me nuts. Anyway, it's just a damaged coin but ....Good eye for noticing and it never hurts to ask.
