I found this 1990 P LMC with what appears to be an extra column in the fourth bay. It is raised an not a scratch. Insight needed please!

Appears that way. I know the 94-P has some along the right but haven't heard of the 90's having them. You never know. I'm sure there will be more responses about this to follow. Nice find if it is!

Hard to tell from pics, but it looks more like die scratches to me. You can see similar but weaker North to South scratches in bay 5.

There are a number of reverse dd's for 1990 though this one does aprear to be die scratches.

The best way to tell if they are die scratches is lines above or below the building. The bays are part of the field on this design and are raised. So it the bays are altered, it maybe from contact to the face of the die.

Color on this simulated image is light for fields, darker areas are the raised devices set into the die.

I'm thinking die scratches. Why? Because the lines are not in the same up-down directions, not in the same spacing as the columns should be. Just an attempt to remove a clash affected area on the bay.
