snowman Pillar of the Community United States 1840 Posts	Posted 06/12/2008 7:36 pm At the age of 32 both of my grandmothers still give me cash on my birthday. Last year I tried to give it back and granny told me to shut my mouth and take my money. Now that I have some extra cash I can't decide which coin to buy: A 1324 Afghan 5 Rupee: http://www.vcoins.com/world/civitas...8911&large=0 Or an 1818 Prussian Thaler (note the size): http://www.vcoins.com/world/civitas...2438&large=0 So, which would you buy? Numismat Pillar of the Community United States 1666 Posts	Posted 06/13/2008 4:24 pm I guess it's a matter of personal opinion. I'm one of those who prefer to spend on eye appeal rather than rarity alone. The Prussian coin also appears to have had an old cleaning, which I see as an issue. Though at the price, it's a good buy for the right collector. =) Report this Post to the Staff
