And oh, yeah. 99 cents and NO RESERVE

Everyone advises to list them as such. But man it took so brass ones!

Odd that the die # is not given, and the obverse pic is smaller and more blurry than the reverse?

KurtS, it's a Die #1. In fact, I don't believe PCGS has code identifier (in this case 2949) for anything but a die 1.

I had a very difficult time taking the pictures and getting the color accurate. Playing with every angle and lighting possible that's the best I could do without getting a huge glare interfering.

The reverse, even though the picture appears to be more clear and closer.. is less flattering than in real life. There's nice color in the fields that you can't see in the picture.

Unfortunately all I have is my wife's digicam and I'm not much of a photographer.

It's OK, Kurt. I figured as much. It's actually good unbiased feedback for what others (who don't know me) might think. Any suggestions for revision?

I'm going to see if I can get better pictures of the obverse.

The PCGS slab will get the total up with no doubt, but to get the best price at the end is going to depend on the appearance of the coin. Even 65RB have "great" appearance to "ugly" toning appearance. If it is a nice even browning going on, the bids will be good. If it has more mottled appearance, not so good. Looking forward to better photos.

desert, I'm going to find someone with a scanner and hopefully it will be better. There really is VERY little "brown" to speak of. What little brown there is is very light and even. It's mostly red mixed with a nice pattern of purple.

It's an impossible task for me to take a picture that is close enough (and) clear enough (and) accurately shows the color (and) doesn't have darn glare reflecting off the slab. The close-up of the Obverse was the best I could do to combine all these things. It's kind of a "meh" picture but it does give you a good idea of how it looks in hand.

I'm praying scans work better.

You just got that last year didn't you? I remember when you put it up, the toning looked great, I think I will have to watch this one :)
