So I'm in need of a refresh to my numismatic knowledge. I've got a 1935 buffalo that has markings on the obverse from the old coin rolling machines that leave the circular markings on the coin. The markings are slightly worn from the years but the coin is still in VF condition. Markings most noticeable on Indian head over the date. I know that for certain older specimens that this is counted as a feature instead of PMD. Would that follow for a 35' buffalo? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm afraid damage is damage. Especially on a common coin that can be found in nice grades for a small price.

Posting photos is a good idea so we can be sure of our assessment.

with moxking. Excluding ebay and the likes, I've not heard of any coin roller damage be referred to as a feature or variety. Pending how it looks in hand, I think most would prefer it without this kind of blemish or feature. Thanks, Doug.

Roller marks are not damage; they occur before the minting process is complete. They are technically a minor mint error, and usually add no extra value to a coin. In rare instances they can though, if you can post a picture it might help.
Edit: If they're from coin rolling machines they are damage.
