Hi I have found this 1943 5 francs via Google and found it on this forum from 2007 and the lady had this in 2007 and it was worth $475 and I found it on another website that said $1000 I am just wondered if this is the correct coin

First off, welcome.

As best as I can tell from these photos, this is a 1 franc coin, of which over 205 million were struck.

France issued two different 1 franc coins in 1943.

Yours is the common one, as mentioned above.

There is a rare type, as shown here (though this one is the 1944). http://www.comptoir-des-monnaies.co...ts_id=422731

This may be the source of the confusion

I don't think France produced any 5f coins in 1943
