Would like honest opinions on this 1972 Lincoln Cent. There is double lettering in the word AMERICA. I tried to take best pic I could. If you blow it up you can really see it esp on the "E"

Even with the blurry pics doubling looks flat with sharp edges and devices (lettering) looks to be getting smaller where the doubling is (also on the bottom of the C) - so MD.

The center cross bar on the "E" is a good example . Note how it narrows towards the tip. The lower "C" also shows this.

How'd it go from Verdigras to acid soaked. Strange pictures but still MD - no value above 1¢

Anything acid can alter a coin. Soda, taco sauce, ketchup, pickle juice and other weaker acids. They turn the copper a pink color. Then the stronger acids alter the size of coins and diameters of coins. But just MD. Not a keeper coin. Some save them and later bump them back into circulation.

Well, in the case that acids turn copper a pink color, my fingerprints are acidic! I kept a penny in my pocket, playing with it & rubbing at much as I could, and it turned a bright shiny pink.

More MD. Set this one aside and get back to the hunt. Something real is out there waiting for you to find it. When you do your eyes will open. Then go back to this one. you will see what we see.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not — is there something wrong with what I said?
