I do realize there may be no malicious intent, but it does have a lot to do with ego, an over abundance of pride. To need to be heard is a need of EVERY human, but to be heard again and again becomes annoying. When posting an answer to a OP's question, being succinct and as accurate as can be is paramount. The only necessary responds I make is to correct something I may have been vague about or expand on the original thought. This is what is referred to in the forum rules as QUALITY POSTS. I have at times thanked a poster for giving info I didn't know, but have you ever seen me post a "thank you" to a poster's personal compliment? If need be I will PM them and thank them directly, a more sensible electronic face to face. Sheeesh!, if I did that I'd have over 15,000 posts myself by now! I agree, It is rather annoying seeing the same thing over and over again
without adding anything of value to the original thread.
But I guess if your going to keep your daily post count up,
you have to say something, no matter how irrelevant.

I completely agree. I usually just post my answer to the OP's question, maybe a Welcome if they are new. If they have further questions I will reply back but otherwise I do not.

I know you have a pet peeve Crazyb0 (and I'm fully aware of it), but don't forget that I do also post very helpful and informative answers as well (I also do add value to the threads most of the time too). It's not all about the post count etheir. I love helping people out, as it's my favorite thing to do. I just like to poke fun sometimes (joke around like everybody else does), and having a good time. There's nothing wrong with that etheir. That's all I have to say (there's nothing else I have to say, and it will be the end on this thread. I will be moving on to a different thread).  Errers and Varietys.
