Wondering if anyone here has cracked open one of these types of RCM holders to extract the coins:

Breaking-Open-A-Plastic-RCM-Coin-Holder

This is the kind of case the RCM used for some themed gift sets. I recently acquired this 2000W Oh Canada! set and I'm trying to crack it open to put the coins in 2x2's for my album. There doesn't appear to be any seams and the coins do not appear to pop out of the holes. In fact the diameter of the holes seem to be slightly less than the coins themselves, but maybe it's an illusion and they are just real tight. Before I get out the snipper pliers and take on a possible delicate operation I thought I'd check here first... :)

Looks like you have it out of the clear plastic. You have to 'pop' them out of the holder. Use gloves if you use your hands, or try twisting the holder to allow the coins to come out. They went in, you will get them out. You shouldn't need to destroy the holder. Good luck.

Put this in a single page Mylar holder with a closed bottom suited for three ring binder.

Take a wood burner, use it as it is warming up and melt the front and back of the Mylar around the edges of the holder. You can easily put that in a binder, looks great, costs almost nothing, coins can't move, nor can the holder.

Thanks Lewy you are right, in the end it just took much more force to pop them out then I expected.
