I have a 1940 Canadian 1 cent that has a diameter of 17 mm where the regular 1940 diameter is 19 mm. The 17 mm coin seams to have a rolled edge. It is in a nice condition. Has any one came across this type of error? I am unable to find anything on this on the net. Could take a photo if needed. Thanks if you could help.

to CCF. Photos would help. As of now sounds like post mint damage not an error. Maybe a dryer or spooned coin?

Being a 1 cent coin, it is
more likely to be a Dryer Coin
as opposed to being spooned.
Would like a picture though.
