Taking a break from New Orleans mint examples, here is a San Fran with that 'leathery' look which will usually bring bidders out of their saddles.

i have this at vf35. so close to 40, but the top feather just misses being complete. TPG may have put it in an xf holder, but I think it is just short. attractive as a coin gets in this grade. thanks for sharing.

VF-35, to me that reverse simply doesn't make 40.

well...I'm going with what I see. I see a VF30 reverse and a VF35 obverse. overall probably would grade out at 35. nice circulated example and eye appeal
