Hi,
Went by the bank on friday on biz & picked up $5 In Pennies. I was about to give up on my bank since last 2 trips produced nothing.
First 3 rolls nothing, then in 4&5 a 58-D & 56-D, at last hope. Then a 37-D appeared & a 47-S in 6&7 with 3 Canadians in roll 8 seeking asylum. Roll 9 a 48-D & in the last roll with 5 coins left to look at, a 1916-D. I was shocked since I did not have a 16-D in my collection. here are some photos,

Lucky you, that 16D and 37D came out of someone's old collection into yours. Sadly this is what our idiot relatives tend to do with our collections on our demise, bank dump 'em for the cash. Ive been thinking highly lately, that yes, I may not be able to take them with me across that bar, but nothing says I can't be buried with them! See which relative dreams up the excuse for an exhumation! Lol!

@JS, very nice pick-ups that you got there! Always nice to fill a hole in your collection from circulation.

Yep. I do the $50 bags of pennies and usually find 15-20 Wheaties per bag. Once in a great while an Indian Head as well. Not in every bag though.
