I got this coin in my change a few weeks ago, thought nothing of it until I saw ErrorsAndVarietys' strike through LSC. Unfortunately, I left it on an outside table and it developed some lovely "toning" in the weeks before posting this.

Looks like damage to me, especially since you can see it on both sides. A normal strikethrough wouldn't be like that.

It looks like Post Mint Damage to me. Better pictures would help though. If you can get a better picture of that area in question, that would be great.
