Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 04/19/2018 3:20 pm "toning", can sometimes be a word to disguise corrosive effects. Human skin oil will cause copper/zinc to "oxidize" the true cause of the "toning" in most cases. When considering contemporary coins as this, be careful in that distinction. I no longer get excited, because after 3-4 years in a 2x2 that one will have lost any "beauty"...it is a transient state of metal deterioration already set in motion. Report this Post to the Staff
