*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. Titles are Important! ***one more coin, thanks. I'm not sure what to make of it. It seems strange.

Can you get an in focus pic of reverse? There is a high premium DDR if the EPU is doubled, condition looks possible MS but think I see hairlines on obverse which is a cleaned coin, maybe dipped.

Looking at the eagle's breast, surely this cannot be MS.

It looks so bright, it's very strange. The details are pretty strong though. I guess if it was badly tarnished, they'd clean it?

I guess there are no in focus pictures. Maybe that's part of the scam?

Color and details look off to me. Possible fake?

May I guess at a 4 step cleaning method?
1. Acetone, 2. Light cleaning with metal polish, 3. Immediately follow with water blasting, to remove residual metal polish, 4. Acetone again, to finish it.
Out of focus pictures with assistive lighting complete the picture. Light coming from two directions.
Grading? - Coinfrog is right. Polish has knocked out the breast feathers a bit.

Dipity dip dip. But doesn't appear to be over dipped.

Inadequate photos, obviously. Could be AU or MS and likely has been cleaned. Even if mint state the obverse field marks would limit the grade to 61, maybe 62. Add in the fact that this is a common date and you have a pretty marginal piece. Max value is probably not more than $15, so bid accordingly!

I would say dipped or cleaned in some way . I disagree with it being fake .
