I am looking for a transparent storage solution for 59mm diameter medals.

I've seen many old clear coin flips that aged badly ... to the detriment of the 'collectible'.

Q/ Should I ass-u-me those were vinyl?

Q/ Any experience with either of these 2.5x2.5" coin flips ... advertised to be archival?

Q/ Any other/similar solutions come to mind?

Cheers,

All the older 2 1/2" clear flips I've ever dealt with are thin, poor seamed and get brittle quickly, not sure the brand . The saflips are an excellent brand, and work OK in a twelve pocket vinyl binder page.

with Crazy. I've used those flips for over 30 years with no problems. I do suggest inclusion in the 12 pocket pages. Also Archival, of course.

Contrary to my raw, naive math, my 59mm medals will not fit in the 2-1/2" Saflips. Duh.

Q/ Any sources for 3" archival flips? Other solutions?

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey (who knows that, if you buy them from the mint - instead of from the secondary market - you get nice packaging)
