Just another one to add to the barrel. Debating on going for the 144. We'll see, that's still a long way off.

What do you grade this '35 Texas? It's a little more golden hued then in the photo.

Technical Grade 66+. Eye Appeal 8/10. Now you are back to getting very lovable coins.

The 144 is a challenge that I've put on the back burner, primarily because of the killer - Grant with Star.

Plus, I'm having fun getting my type (not commemorative) up to snuff.

Again - I love this one Beefer
Rest in Peace

Is that circulation rub on the obverse Eagle breast? If so ... lovely AU58 slider.

If not ... I'm in at MS66.

Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

What did the grading service say ? Is that an NGC holder ? I agree with the light rub / AU58 opinion above but anything else is difficult to determine from photos i.e. hairlines, etc.

A very small part of me thinks I should resubmit. But, the bump in value from 64 to 65 would barely justify it, and as much as I like the coin for a 66, I don't think I'd get a 2 point bump. I do think this would be a good candidate for CAC though.

Probably best to just leave it alone, although trying for CAC has minimal risk.

I would submit it to CAC. It's definitely undergraded.
