I tried adding a link to my image in my post (enclosed in forum IMG tags) and it doesn't seem to work. Not sure why.

You need to put the URL of the JPEG itself in the tags, like this:

ID-This-Slavic-Coin?-|-Mongolia-1-Tugrik

The star and galloping horseman symbol give this one away as Communist Mongolia. The denomination is 1 tugrik.

That would be the one issued for the 60th anniversary of the communist revolution in Mongolia. It should be dated 1921-1981 on the edge.

Example on WCG.
