$425. Checked heritage and the price is pretty good (though more than I would pay for common stuff). This is a key date so I'm willing to pay higher percentages. Paying half within a week and half within 30 days.

It's on ebay, I didn't want to totally deplete my bank account so this is why I opted to pay some of it later. have about $600 in there plus $200 at home but I want to generally keep $800 in reserve as much as possible.

note: in case there's any concern about something with regards to this picture, I indeed did flip the bottom right one.

Are you building a set? What are you missing? There just aren't too many full sets around.....good luck and happy hunting.

......me too, but it's so hard with so many coins to buy, trips to take, girlfriend to keep happy, credit cards to pay off, etc. etc. etc.......
I've been thinking on a second job .........just for my coin collecting obsession!.......

afernbaugh, I'm mostly just trying to grab key dates that have went up a lot lately, and this one certainly has appreciated a lot lately. I might be interested in a slab set if I had a bit more money but I'd have to get really, really good prices on the common dates since I'm mostly focusing on keys.

eaglefoot, yeah it is hard, especially if it's a great deal, which is partly what my 800 is for. I don't want to be totally out of cash if I see a real steal.

My piano job is going to be picking up a lot really soon due to a high number of prospective clients, so within a month or two I should be able to spend more than $1000 a month while saving some. I'm a college student living at home so I don't have many expenses.

The SLQ series is one of my all time favorites. Good luck in your quest! It is expensive to complete this series; even with modest goals.....but oh SO satisfying when it is completed.
