Found this coin near a late 1800's Aussie pub site and have had no luck at all trying to figure out what it is. The queens head has what looks like Arabic writing around it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated !!

My first thought is maybe it is not a coin, rather a pendant of sorts since it looks to have been connected to a chain.
Could be a great find if you discover what it is

Yea I was up late to 4am...and back it it today.....

seems has a lot of religious meaning...The cross I find pictured variations of Maltese Cross, Canterbury Cross, and is used in Celtic depictions...The Infinity Symbols between the cross bars also mean Eternity (symbol originated in India)..The crown has Crosses and appears to have a Monde with a religious symbol above but that seems common in Crowns..Cant find anything that resembles the woman figure but the features seem more Indian, Unless it is familiar to you.
if you have a more specific area to research, check history on culture and migration...maybe get a lead..That thing looks somewhat old and probably migrated there..Just guessing

Thanks for the advice Occirats. My guess is the gold miner who lost it in the late 1800's had worn it to remind him of his homeland, wherever that may be. Very unusual find on Aussie soil. Will follow up on any suggestions for sure.

Very complicated deep religious stuff.. What I determined as a Consecration Cross and this article(below) goes into the Lamniscate symbol for Infinity which is connected to India. It all seems to go full circle to something, maybe a combination of beliefs..Then consider the Crown symbolizing a monarch or deity....Too much for me to comprehend, yet interesting to learn... ..Whether it's a coin or not I can't discover.
You need an expert, I'll keep my eyes open. post a good photo of writing if you can

The cross design is similar to the Italian Order of the Crown. The portrait side is a total fantasy design probably used as belly dancer jewelry.

@retiredkper, You are correct, it contains all the same symbols but the Consercation Cross is widely used and is always seen in the halo of Jesus....From everything I have read in simplest terms this one side symbolizes devotion(cross) and eternal life(infinity symbol) in the kingdom of Heaven/God(crown)...I guess it could be applied anywhere though only here does the infinity symbol appear.
I am assuming this medal/coin depicts earlier times though it probably wont date back to those times.........
Also the Crown the figure is wearing resembles the crown on the italian medal....I have seen this style no where else.

(not so sure that is a woman figure given the adams apple)

The figure resembles the classic depiction of Petrarch
