What's the black substance on the coin? Will acetone take it off? It straight graded MS61.

Crack it out of the holder and give it an Acetone bath.

I wouldn't mess with it. You could crack it out and try, but IMO just leave it alone.

Don't mess with it. Might be copper spots that toned and acetone won't touch that.

Looks like grim, no reason to mess with it. Great coin as is. I think they were generous with an MS grade though.
