I have searched and could not find any information on the attached token
It's about 20 mm in diameter and appears to be made of silver.
The text on the token is:
GERMAN -> English Translation
OBV - drittes reformat fest -> Notes third reformat
Rev - eine feste burg ist unser gott -> a fixed burg is our god
Which makes no sense to me.
THANX in advance for any info

The reverse text is from a German hymn by Martin Luther. Given the connection with Luther, presumably "reformat" is related to the "Reformation". So presumably, in 1817 there was a religious event called the Third Reformation (or perhaps the Third Reformed Church?) Festival (conclave? conference? gathering?) in the city of Darmstadt.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
