Looks to be a notch in the lower left of the B in LIBERTY.
1952 d LWC Plus a couple other pics . It's so hard to get a good pic being so shiny. Plus there is an eye lid pic too. Anyway does it look like a notch or is this normal for some reason in 1952. Just asking.

The wheat cents had different years that master die doubling was showing on them. Sometimes on the date. But the marks on LIBERTY, WE and the forehead was pretty consistent through specif years:

Other years had issues with these and master doubling on the dates.

Thanks alot coop. I've taken so many pictures thinking it was being made by the light angle but all that I was finding was the same you posted. It's kind of like the 72 then but for alot more years than 1.
