Could you give us a picture of the whole coin also? Too much magnification isn't always a good thing!

We are going to need a lot more pictures of full obverse and reverse of the coin. Right now, we can't really help you because it's up way too close.

@tc, first welcome to CCF. The close-up pic is great, but I agree that even one overall of the front and one overall pic of the back would help. It does look like a folded over lam, but could also be damage. Seeing the rest of the coin may help making that determination.

I'm pretty sure it's a folded over lam and a nice one at that!

I agree that full coin pics would help.
