Found today, what looks like die cracks coming off beak and right wing (left side)crossing each other..
The quarter has all its detail but is kind of beat up as if it was put in a can of coins and shook real good..

Hmmm....Possibly a die that's about to shatter.

Is there by any chance a small die crack from the bottom tip of the eagles wing (left side)?

@Nevol...No die crack at bottom tip of wing..I looked as I have a 1973 (I think it is) that has that die crack...
This one is better than the 1983 spitting eagle though

The 1983 Spitting Eagle is actually a die clash, not a die crack. So it would look different.

Definitely an interesting die crack on your coin. I agree that it could be a die about to shatter if it struck more coins after this one.

I agree that it's a very nice Die Crack. Nice find! If the Die Crack got longer, it would eventually become a Shattered Die.
