It could be as there are similar ones listed (RPMs- 17, 19, 34, 99) however it does not match any of them. I am also worried about how the left side of the possible extra mintmark is parallel to the die scratch below to to the left of the 9.

I have two of these identical. Very weird. Late lastnight I posted what I thought to be a 1969 S rpm which has been explained to me that it is not one...which in turn made me look at some of my other coins I had put up in the near past. Came across two 1960Ds that have the exact faint "D" that I just posted. An I mean they are exact. Is it possible that it may be a new RPM? Or can it even be considered one being so faint?

You may want to see if Wexlers' site wants to see them. Are both of your coins from the same die pair? John1

I mean, is it even worth it? I'm not in it for the money or value of anything. But is what you "may be able to see" worth sending to wexler? And how do I tell if they are the same die pair. The coins are bout darn identical if thats what you mean. And how would I go about it anyway?

If both coins are from the same die pair, they will have the same die markers. Is it worth it to send in? Only if you want it recognised and your name associated to the find. These are not worth much money, but it is kinda neat to have your name on a find. I have a few finds on a few different sites with my name on them as the finder. John1

The area in question is not raised. A die scratch is even stronger than that area. So I'm thinking it is not a RPM. Sorry

Ofcoarse, already figured youd say that but if I didnt have two coins with the exact same ghost phantom D id agree. Maybe its just my picture taking skills again. Its really no big deal, even though I'm wrong 90% of the time I still like sharing what I think I find. I do it for the hobby an think its very interesting, I'm not chasing a get rich coin dream or anything. Thanks for all the input, I really appriciate the help an the let downs believe it or not as well, either way rite or wrong its a learning experience.I feel I learn something everytime but I still make the same newbie mistakes time an time again. I got to admit though, its pretty frustrating not so much the "it isn't what I thought" it was aspect but the time it takes to take photos an post something that is just thrown out as nothing without explanation sometimes. Live an learn I suppose. Thanks again and I really dont mean to waste yalls time over an over again.

I do recommend watching Coop's YouTube videos. They're very good and on point. They also have a ton of very interesting and valuable information.
Errers and Varietys.
