Spence Moderator United States 34428 Posts	Posted 05/06/2018 5:05 pm @crazyb0, I'm not sure that you have an exact hit on that--the metal on the OP's piece doesn't appear to be copper, there is no rim, the rev design is a bit different, and there are a different number of edge lobes (10 vs. 12 on the 5 milliemes). That said, it certainly looks pretty close. Perhaps it was a piece made specifically for the jewelry market rather than a converted coin? I havent closely compared all the coins on the bracelet, I know they are all the same but some are slightly more worn than others. I'll compare them all to the photographs here. Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 05/06/2018 5:56 pm Spence, you're right. That isn't a coin, but a jewelry piece, and I'm thinking more like belly dancer jewelry. They used fake jewelry in the 20's but it is patterned after the milliemes(2,5,10). But on the reverse is no Arabic script numeral in the center for denomination. Report this Post to the Staff
