I compared it to images of other 1986 cents on PCGS and none of them have it, so it's not part of the design. I don't want to jump to conclusions and say it's a DDO, but it could be. The major doubled ears are 1984 and 1988, so it's the right time period, but usually doubled ears have doubling on the earlobe and not the side of the ear. I'd email pictures to John Wexler of doubleddie.com and see what he thinks. I am also curious to what other people on the forum here think. Report this Post to the Staff

Couldn't use my microscope cause it wouldn't show what I was seeing, when I used my microscope, it had so many shadows that it made it look like a hit, and looked very sharp. So I did it the old school way and used my magnifying glass and took pictures through that! Now you can see exactly what I see without stupid shadows distorting the devices. Man I tell you what, never buy the "Plugable" microscope from Amazon... you get what you pay for. All 25 bucks and all...-_- I wouldn't give this microscope to a 3rd grade student for science class. He'd spend more time messing with the microscope then he would seeing what he trying to look at. But anyways, idk man. To me this screams doubled die. But then again... I know my luck lol.
