If they are real, in that state, they are sold for melting value in Belgium.

@TheBurnz - for the melt value today (8/5/2018) of the 1856 coin check here:-
https://www.NGCcoin.com/price-guide...duid-1250633
Similar information can be found on the NGC website for the other 3 coins.
Can't offer an opinion as to whether they are genuine or not.

From recent ebay sales for coins in similar grade:
$20-28 for the 1852A https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-francs-1...AOSwikdaoZDc

$16.5 to $27 for the 1856A https://www.ebay.com/itm/FRANCE-NAP...047675.l2557

Of the 1867 and 1868, one is in nicer grade and might fetch $25-30 based on the recent ebay history, the other no more than $20 (it's not clear from your photos which date goes with which obverse for those two)

So you can net a bit more than melt ($12) if you want to put in the effort to sell them.

I'll be keeping them for my collection, but don't want to over pay. I put in a bid at $50 cad for the lot. After premium and taxes, It will go into $60 cad. I think thats where its at, from all your information.

Much appreciated gents!

I'd probably do the basic tests: Magnet, weight, tissue. I think all four are genuine, but cleaned in the past. Still not a bad buy for $60 for the lot.

Thanks @tdziemia but I was out bid. May have just scored 2 $10 1913 and a 1914 for $1,100 cad each. I'm going to check out their condition later today. Hopefully they will be in MS condition. They are the hand selected still in the box, not the premium hand selected ones. Fingers crossed.
