to CCF. What to look for depends on what type of collector you are. There are errors and varieties to look for as well as high grade. Post a photos if you can,front and back.

Tabbie , there are a total of 7 different reverses of the Lincoln Cent . Not going to name them all , just pick up a '' Red Book of U.S Coins'' and they will all be listed .The book will also tell you what errors, varieties are out there as well as grading , mintages and approximate prices for all U.S. coins . Have fun collecting !

Nice find, may be worth about $8.00 if MS 65.

Buy the book and then buy the coin! Pick a series such as Lincoln Cents or Jefferson nickels etc and start looking.
