@PP, I've done some searching on this coin to no avail. I know that I have seen that distinctive letter O somewhere, but I can't remember and unfortunately my knowledge of the feudal low countries is pretty limited. Hopefully someone else here has better luck...

I was thinking Dorestad (based on the D R O), but nothing I see is a match for your coin.

The O also shows up on Frisian coins ...https://en.numista.com/catalogue/be...eudal-2.html

If nobody here can solve it, Elsen in Brussels could be an option.

Thanks for your help and tips so far.
I already searched at Dorestad , until now no match.
Looking at the site where this coin was found ,The Low countries , Belgium , France are the best options

Kind regards , Pinpoint
