I want to know if a 1968 Washington quarter should have a mint mark?
If yes, is it on obverse or reverse?

I am referencing my 6th edition CherryPickers Guide pg 407 it lists the '68 Quarter with MM's?

Oooops! I just remembered Coins minted in Philadelphia didn't have a mint mark for a period of time..... well it seems as though
I have answered my own question?

There is the 1968D Washington quarter. It is located under Washington's bust on the obverse.
