I just got this back from PCGS: https://www.PCGS.com/cert/35357237 It used to be in a really old ANACS holder. I am pleased that the grade reflects the fact that the 10c silver planchet was considerably thinner than a cent planchet, and the resultant weak strike. Still amazed that this coin circulated - speaks volumes of what 10c was worth back then (imagine sliding this across a merchant's counter obverse side up!). I suspect this off-metal is unique for the George V series, perhaps Zimmy, Zonad or others here can chime in if they know of more... Terrific coin. Errors are not my thing, but I appreciate a good one, and that one is good.

Great coin, congrats, the earliest home grown Canadian error of this type that I've seen. Very nice.
Cheers, Bill

Lots... I sent it down all by itself with a PCGS representative (Alliance Coins & Banknotes). Still waiting for the bill...

I haven't sent any error coins down for grading yet but for a PCGS regular grade coin service from BC costs me around a $100.00 Canadian total a coin by the time it arrives back to me here in BC. I would think an error coin would be about $150.00 - $200.00 per coin sent down and delivered back to you, if you insure your package it would be more
