Hi! Bought a box of foreign coins and found these oddities mixed in with the lot. A Copper Silver and Gold Bullion coin. (Woo complete set! ...of whatever these are.)

The copper one is pretty thick, but the Silver one is wafer thin, thin enough that it does not even have a reverse.

I jumped for joy when I found the "5 grams of gold" bar, but some googling leads me to believe it's just a bar of tin or something, with a wafer thin plating of gold. I'm not sure though, I'm hoping someone else may have more info.

Thanks!

Your right about the gold bar.
It is plated. Notice on the reverse
at the top where it says "100 mills",
that means it's plated. These are
available on ebay by the dozens.
That silver coin looks interesting though,
have never seen one like that.

They are all novelty issues The copper one @ 1/4 ounce would sell for .50 cents or less in a bargin bin the silver is 20 grains of silver, and 100 mills refers to the thickness of the gold plating like a gum wrapper.
