Now that the real spring weather is upon us in New York I have a major outdoor project that will begin in a few days .
Needless to say buying coins is on hold for now . Depressing to say the least. ] Anyone else in my shoes ?

Summer's coming up here in Southern California and it can get really hot so as air conditioning use goes up, so does the electric bill, big time. Unfortunately Socal Edison will be getting a big share of my coin money until about November, but I'll still be able to make a minor purchase or two until then.

Yes and no. Saving funds for my climb of Kilimanjaro in June but if I find a deal, I'll pick it up.

Same for me. Spent all my money on coins and as a YN my job pays minimum wage. Totally worth the investment though, but I'm saving for a few months now.

I think I will always make room, if just a little, to spend on coins, even if it's $10. I could get a few upgrades for that, or coins/tokens I don't even have.

My budget is low already, so it's not a huge decision.

My daughter when in junior high school, had a fun outdoor project:
Change chucking.
She made some nice pocket money wins, by running off with most of the coins that were thrown at her. She didn't play by their rules.

Some years later, she turned into a 'normal' coin collector ! (Probably her dad's influence. )
