1934 Lincoln Wheat Cent / LWC Doubled Die Reverse / DDR - But Is It Also A Doubled Die Obverse / DDO ?

Mark1959 Pillar of the Community 7234 Posts	Posted 05/12/2018 7:29 pm Found a 1934 LWC that is a DDR, but I can't figure out if it's also a DDO. It's worn so can't find any of the markers but the obverse letters have the shape of the DDO from Wexlers. So any help? IF it is a DDO 001 and DDR 002 that would be great but need your opinions, Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74628 Posts	Posted 05/12/2018 8:08 pm Hey Mark, I'm pretty sure this is WDDR-003 since the extra thickness is very strong on your coin. Here are the screenshots I took on my Chromebook from doubleddie.com. I don't think you coin is a Doubled Die Obverse though. I think that the circulation wear caused the letters to get smushed up and flattened. This is one heck of a nice find! Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff
