The bays have 4 that have marks on the to appear to show the buildings extra columns behind these columns.

These are normal. The marks on the outside of the columns and above the letters on STATES is showing on three of them, split plating. During the strike the plating over the zinc was split, exposing the zinc. This often happens when a strong strike happens. Pretty much a normal coin. How did I see it when the image was too small and upside down? I copied the image and enlarged it on my Photoshop program.
Examples of split plating.
