What would you grade this coin? In your opinion, does the toning help or hurt the eye appeal?

looks ms63-64ish. dark toning may be hiding problems. personally I like the toning but it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

That looks at least ms62 to me.

The toning, in my opinion, is appealing, particularly on the reverse.

I'm really not seeing any hits so I think MS65 and with the right set up I think the toning would really pop. I like it!

there seem to be some hits in the skirt of liberty.

also a couple of hits in the rock the eagle is standing on above the O in DOLLAR.

To me the toning is not great on the eye appeal . Condition of coin is nice . Tiny hits mentioned are irrelevant on this coin . Most all areas that I look at on a WLH are nicely defined .
my call MS-64 .

I'll say 63, and the splotchy brownish toning does not appeal to me.

toning is in the eye of the beholder. I'm not partial to blotchy toning. MS64 just not my cup of tea
