The part of the 4 that is closest to Jefferson's hair I thought was suppost to be flat. I noticed it is not flat like ones I seen online. It kinda dips in. Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 05/15/2018 1:05 pm You can sometimes see that effect on the base of the uprights on letters on a coin, it is called bifurcation and is the result of strike and filling of the letters. but usually you will see it on several letters. Since that isn't the case here the chances are much better that it is just the result of a contact hit to the bottom of the 4. Report this Post to the Staff
