#1. Cleaned. There are hairlines in the fields and the coin has developed a color characteristic of a cleaning. #2. Cleaned. The coin has a very light color, and yet it is worn. #3. This one is interesting. It appears to have good luster at a first glance. Yet there are some hairlines in the fields; for example, between B and E in LIBERTY and just above IN GOD WE TRUST. Since the coin appears to have good luster and no other signs of being cleaned, I'm thinking that these might be die polish lines.
Not so sure the first two have been cleaned . The 44 is original mint luster . This WLH looks MS but I'm puzzled about what looks like wear on Eagles shoulder and left leg .It really doesn't look like a soft strike to me .
Cleaned. Cleaned. #3 looks nice overall, especially the reverse, and I can look past the R obverse field lines, but between the B and E on the obverse is a lot of chatter that makes me think IndianGoldEagle is right.
The first two look like ordinary circulated examples. Maybe dipped awhile back but nothing serious. The third looks like original surfaces, and very high grade.
