Hello I have these two quarters that are off. One is a 1964 but the weight is off and the second is missing the date and the weight is off as well. Any information would be appreciated thank you.

to CCF. I think the weight and diameter are within mint tolerance. It most likely is from wear. The one with date missing looks like a Struck Through Grease.

Thank you gentlemen it's good to have additional opinions. The second coin that looks like a grease error is 1.3mm on one end and 1.5mm on the other. The first coin is 1.7mm thickness. I'd like to know Is it worth sending it out for grading? Thanks again!

Not anything to be graded for. It is not an error. It is just something we can find wrong with the coin. If you put a roll of quarters into a clear tube, you will see that lots of them vary in thickness. (especially cents) Why spend more than the coin is worth just to have it slabbed? People think it is worth more slabbed, but I wouldn't pay a cent more for them. "But the coin, not the slab" is my motto.

When a person asks a question here, not only does the member benefits from it, but others as well may have wondered the same thing, but never asked.
