I found this 1985 D LMC that appears to have been struck through. What makes me think it might be is there is no splashing of the metal at the edges of the recessed areas. Also there are no signs on the obverse that shows the reverse had taken a hit. Insight please.

It was Struck Through Grease a little bit, causing some of the devices to widen from the partial blockage. That's a keeper in my book!

It maybe damage:

The obverse area from TY on LIBERTY and to the last 'T' on trust would be the obverse affect area.

Is the coin bent at all? Looks like the top of the shoulder on the bust looks flatten a bit?

Mr. Coop, the coin is flat with no signs of it being bent or ever been bent nor are there any signs of die clash.

This coin isn't damaged. It was Struck Through Grease/Debris.
