Picked this up extremely reasonably. What do you think she grades vs what you think PCGS graded her (hint this in an OGH). The "slash" right across the chin/cheek is on the holder. I am about 99.9% sure it is a VAM-2. Thanks in advance as always!

Gouges and scrapes around mouth and neck area just kill this one. I'd say 64 if you're really lucky.

PCGS graded it a MS65. It truly is every bit of 65 in hand, my photography skills leave a lot to be desired!

I agree about taking pictures and grading coins, but I can't see how that graded MS-65. There are some rough spots and the damage behind the crease in her lips is what brings it down (IMO).

I graded it MS-63 ... but some of the photos had the look of MS-64. I suspect it does look much better in hand.

I've often wondered if it would be possible to make a high-resolution video of a coin ... where it was being rotated slowly so the light could reflect from different angles. Of course, you never be able to upload that to CCF with the tiny file size limit being imposed.

With those deep hits on the face I am very surprised this got above 63.

grade the coin not the holder. I would not pay 65 money for this one
