Hope you don't mind Tropical , Here are the pics of mine with an overlay that might show how these things line up.

I don't mind at all, in fact a great place for more pics of such things. But your mirror image overlay is a tad confusing to me. Why not overlay it with a regular image?

Tropical, for overlays, one image must be orientated correctly and the other , upside down (for US coins) and mirrored ao that the details that are on opposing will line up as they should.

Well now that has had me flipping a Lincoln around and over and about. I must say I learned something too. Thanks Stoneman

E and V, I appreciate it, I had a grasp on the damage. I couldn't tell if it was also a DDR by coincidence. I probably should have worded it differently.

NewM, Sadly it is not a DDR as that would make it a pretty darn interesting coin. I always have to remind myself when I see an error to still look for the varieties!

You're very welcome NewMember and no problem! This LMC is so interesting to look at too! Tropicalbats, did you find this in a OBW roll of 1988 P LMC's?

E&V, not a B/U roll for a change. Been going through a lot of those but this one came out of a standard old bank brick. I have a box of B/U rolls of various dates, a bank box of normal cents, and a half a bag of 09-58 wheats sitting here. I have been just sorta alternating between them and finding whatever jumps out. Today I didn't get much searching done but pulled about 10 examples of an unlisted 1961-D DDO from a B/U roll. Another set goes in the large pile of things to submit.
