May keep this one. Looks like a decent planchet and color. Seller says S-137 R-3 AG-3? $80 seemed reasonable. https://www.ebay.com/itm/113007968592

It sold.
But I would not have even been interested from those images.
No telling what it was.

That seller's pics are consistently bad.

Not one I'd keep either with that obverse damage.

Appears that the consensus is unfavorable. These older coins seem hard to find in decent shape unless you want to pay a lot of money for them. Saw the dings on obverse but the coin did not appear to have pitting or corrosion to me. May send it back if it does.

Just depends on what you're looking for. Me, I'd rather have a perfect G-06 than a VG or even F with dings like this. Others might prefer a porous VF at the same price. Set your standards and stick to them.

fr2/ag3 range. the dig in the field may be a planchet flaw, but the one in the bust looks like PMD. surfaces look ok. I like it at $20-40. seller probably wouldn't let it go at that range.
Rest in Peace

Horrible photos. I'm not a gambler when it comes to coins. The house ALWAYS wins.

not always. sometimes you end up with a better coin than you thought. If you hate it it costs you return postage.

not close to FR-2. If you can find any draped bust cent for $20 to $40 like this I suggest you load up.

Pics are good enough for me to judge from. Looks like a coin with nice even chocolate surfaces. Digs are distracting, but don't look terribly bad. Probably less noticeable in hand. Nice pickup!

Large dents are distracting. Can't tell much about surfaces from these pics.
