Here are two more that are much cheaper. Flaws? One is very dull, but has features. The other...not sure if it's cleaned or not.

1st cheaper coin:

1918-Walking-Liberty-Half,-Slabbed,-Toned
1918-Walking-Liberty-Half,-Slabbed,-Toned

2nd coin:

1918-Walking-Liberty-Half,-Slabbed,-Toned

OK, I had dismissed this coin as "cleaned", but upon closer look....it is unslabbed also. Maybe it's not cleaned?

Sorry to list so many coins.

this is the 4th.

I am sorry again. I must present the 5th. My favorite are the 1st and 5th. Also the most expensive.

Please tell me your opinion.

Ken ,your killing me . Please try to only post one or two coins at a time . Posting 5 coins is short circuiting my brain . I like #1 and #5 .

5 looks almost exactly like #1, except it isn't toned. It might have been cleaned also.

My favorite is #5.
In the future, it's easier if you start one topic per coin, or include all the coins in one post. No need to do that now, just in the future. It's just a little easier on the regulars of the grading forum.
Rest in Peace

Very strong strikes on 5. I'd nail that one.

#5 looks solid for MS-63. #1 is at least AU-58 but could grade as high as MS-63. #5 is the better coin overall but both are real beauties.

If you are shopping in this price range there's no reason to consider 2, 3, or 4!

1 is ms63. 5 is uncirculated details cleaned. Doesn't look badly cleaned. 5 is cheaper than 1 by 15% or so.

What venue are these 1918 halves in as an upgrade for my set is in my thoughts. I don't want to undermine your quest but PM me if you would like.

Muddler, these are on E-bay. The 1st is about $860 the last is about $715 but it is "uncirculated details, cleaned". The second is about $200, the third I think about $400.
