I bought this coin in the early 2000's on ebay for $18, just to have such an old one. I later found out it had the rare error. Anyone know the value ?

Very nice coin! Well done for getting it and identifying the variety!
It is going to be difficult to put an accurate value on it. It is not a variety listed in Spink - they do not attempt to list all varieties, so that is not surprising. So the old adage would apply - it is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it! Unfortunately you would only find out what that amount is when you actually sell it.
It is in decent condition and the variety is clear, but it is less than Fine (UK standards) and I don't know if there are many enthusiastic collectors of such early varieties at the moment. It might be worth posting on predecimal.com where there are many keen UK variety collectors.
