Hello,
recently my uncle came across a small collection of coins and we haven't had much experience with coins in the past.
Can anyone give me any information about the coins we have here?
Anything that jumps out at any of you?

It would seem the bulk of what you have is modern and of very low value - the sort of stuff that would go into a job lot at auction for a small amount.
There are a few that could be better, but I suspect they are actually modern replicas. If you could manage to pull out the following and photo them individually and on both sides we should be able to tell:
Picture 1 Column 4, 4th and 5th up from the bottom plus column 5 6th up.
Picture 3, column 1, coins 1 and 2 from the bottom plus column 4, coins 4 and 5 up.

The British pennies are very common and go for scrap mostly. The British Crown size coins are very cheap - I sell them at 50p each at fairs to get rid of them!
I can't vouch for all the modern non-British, but it looks pretty ordinary.
I look forward to seeing better pictures of those picked ou.

Hi, thanks for the welcome!
From what I have found myself for the easier to search coins, I haven't expected much from it. We've worked out that we could sell them for more than he got them for, the case they were in alone covered half the cost.

I have added the individual coins to the folder, I apologize in advance for quality/lighting, I'm just using the camera on my phone.
Thanks again.

OK - I think these are all modern replicas - the WRL stamped on most of them is definitive of commercially made replicas for the tourist/amateur collectors trade.
1st 2 pics replica of Claudius Roman,
Next 2 pics Vespasian Replica,
Next 2 Claudius replica again
Next 2 Hadrian replica
Next 2 Claudius replica again
Next 2 represent a Henry VI groat from England. I can't see a WRL to make it definitely a copy, but in this company the chances are high!
Last 2 Philip of Spain 2 Reales replica

As replicas they may be worth a pound or two for a schoolboy collector, but no one should be fooled into thinking they are right.

Ah that's great. Thanks for taking the time here.
Honestly many of the coins seem like commemorative coins, there were also a few packs in there such as modern Scottish coins which seem to be aimed at tourists. It's a nice little collection for sure.
It's likely he will keep it as he seems to like the idea of adding to it some more and seeing what kinds of coins he can collect.
I actually got a Guernsey milk urn 20p as change from the canteen at work the other day which I have added to the collection. From what I can find it seems to be worth a few pound.

I appreciate you looking into these coins for me. It's helped out a lot in identifying some of them.
