What's going on with the bottom lip? Is that reflection/glare or is it doubled also?

If you reduced the light strength, you would cut down on glare. Also a bit of diffusing would help. Do you know what watt of a bulb I use in my scope? 14 watt. More like a flashlight bulb/book light.
