This thread will attempt to collect links to free online numismatic reference books. Links should be to the full book whenever possible.

Before the RedBook, there was the Standard Catalogue of United States coins and Currency by Wayte Raymond. It was the reference book for numismatists at the time.

The Newman Numismatic Portal is located at Washington University in St. Louis and funded by the Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society. The NNP is dedicated to becoming the primary and most comprehensive resource for numismatic research and reference material, initially concentrating on U.S. Coinage and Currency. I can add this for Conder tokens:

Provincial Token Coinage of the 18th Century by Dalton & Hamer

http://provincialtokencoinage.weebly.com

Selecting the province works for bringing you to the appropriate pages in the work. The full download does not seem to work, however.

Edit: this is already listed here

I didn't know about the CCF book link. Thanks for sharing. I checked the U.S. reference books and it looks pretty sparse. If mods want us to all to that library that's fine. I think the content here is new to that library. Will abide with mod guidance.

Feel free to add your links there if you like, but I will alert Bobby to this topic as well.
